Abstract

This article analyzes folklorisms using the example of Zulfiya Kurolboy kizi’s novel “Oyimtilla.” The role of simple and complex folklore elements used in the work in the artistic text, their semantic and aesthetic functions are highlighted. Also, the importance of folklorisms in creating an image, expressing the national spirit, and enriching the ideological and artistic content of the work is revealed. In the course of the research, the organic connection between folklore and modern prose, as well as the manifestation of traditional elements in a new interpretation, is analyzed on a scientific basis. As a result of the article, it is substantiated that folklorisms serve as an important artistic tool in the novel “Oyimtilla.”
