Abstract

Machine Translation (MT) has become a vital technology in the modern global economy, enabling communication across different languages and cultures. Its applications in customer support and global e-commerce have significantly transformed how businesses interact with international customers. By providing automated translation of messages, product descriptions, customer reviews, and support resources, machine translation helps organizations overcome language barriers, improve customer satisfaction, and expand their global reach. This article examines the role of machine translation in customer support and e-commerce, highlighting its key applications, benefits, challenges, and future developments. While issues such as translation accuracy, cultural adaptation, and data security remain important concerns, advances in artificial intelligence and neural machine translation continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of automated translation systems. The study concludes that machine translation is an essential tool for facilitating international business communication and supporting the growth of global digital commerce.
