Abstract

This article discusses the chemical composition of human blood, its major biochemical parameters, and their importance in maintaining normal body functions. The composition of blood plasma, blood cells, electrolytes, acid-base balance (pH), and methods of biochemical blood analysis are reviewed. Special attention is given to the role of biochemical blood tests in the early diagnosis of diseases, evaluation of treatment effectiveness, and monitoring of human health.
