Abstract

This article elucidates the scientific and methodological foundations for the analysis of visual artworks through a comprehensive and systematic approach. Within the framework of the integration of art history, aesthetics, and pedagogy, the theoretical essence of formal, iconographic, iconological, psychological, and contextual methods of analysis is examined. Furthermore, methodological perspectives grounded in scholarly sources are analyzed in relation to their applicability within the process of art education. Particular emphasis is placed on the significance of the principles of objectivity, historicism, and reflexivity in the study of artworks.
